Barnsley Building Society has become Yorkshire Building Society.

Since Barnsley Building Society joined forces with Yorkshire Building Society in 2008, it's fair to say we've gone from strength to strength. Together, we're now one of the largest and strongest building societies in the UK.

By rebranding to Yorkshire Building Society, we believe we will be more efficient and cost effective, ensuring we can continue to offer long-term value.

Here's what has changed:

• Access to improved online services - rather than visiting barnsley-bs.co.uk, you will need to visit ybs.co.uk instead - where you'll find a wide range of tools and services.
• Barnsley Building Society branches have become Yorkshire Building Society branches - you now have access to over 230 Yorkshire Building Society branches and local agencies across the UK, rather than the 8 Barnsley branches.
• Access to a wider range of products and services - we no longer sell Barnsley products. Instead you now have access to the Yorkshire Building Society products and services in branch, over the phone and online.
• Where we previously had two branches in the same area - we have closed one branch and continue to serve our customers from the remaining branch. In some cases, the branch location has remained the same - with just the sign above the door changing.

How do I login?
If you were an online customer with Barnsley Building Society, check the letter received recently with your new customer number then visit ybs.co.uk or use the login link below. There is no need to register to use the Yorkshire Building Society website.
